About Progress Data Services

Progress Data Services was established in the early nineties and has become the largest local provider of end of day (EOD) stock market data for a number of local as well as imported technical analysis programs.

We specialise in providing data of all equities quoted on the South African Stock Exchange, Bonds, Futures, Unit Trusts, Currencies and Commodities as well as all the major International Indices.

Since inception we have been the largest importer and reseller of MetaStock programs and we have also become known as the main suppliers of databases in MetaStock format for use by clients who are using imported programs requiring data in MetaStock format.

We are also the main suppliers of Share Friend Pro, the latest version of our dominant, feature rich, locally in-house developed technical analysis software program available on the South African market.

Apart from being data vendors and suppliers of technical analysis software we employ in-company trained technical support staff and provide free technical support to all clients via the telephone, e-mail or in-house at our Bruma offices.

Our support technicians are available from 08h00 to 18h00, Monday through Thursday, 08H00 to 17H00 on Friday’s.

These technical support services are available free of charge to all clients. Even if you are not yet a client of ours and are experiencing problems with your current programs, you should feel free to contact us for support and we will gladly try and assist you.

If you are currently using a program, which is not supported or sold by us we will gladly consider trading-in your program to one of ours at a very low and affordable upgrade price.
